Nakos Manos

He is one of the most popular Greek painters, with lots of artworks and oil paintings on canvas.

Nakos Manos was born in Thessaloniki Northern Greece. From very young dealt with painting and sculpture having the teachers Aristomenis Petridis of Malea series and Germeni and two years later the Fine Arts workshop I. Morali.

In 1967 leaves a scholarship to Paris to study plastic arts and architecture in the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris where sits six years. He lives and works abroad: France, Germany, and takes part in various exhibitions in the European and international arena. '' Royal College of Art '' in Cambridge, '' Front Room '' in London, '' Mariam Gropman '' New York, '' Art Gallery '' Chicago Exhibition of Osaka in Japan. He is an associate of '' Joset Boy's '' and Gallery '' Conrad Fisher ''.

In Greece comes in parts and sets individual or group projects in Thessaloniki, Crete, Athens, Ioannina. He is no longer a novice artist and his works are in the museums of England, Germany, France, MOMA N. Y., U.S. and participant Gallery '' Action - Poison - Fugitive '' in Germany. Over the last 10 years he is working, traveling and teaching in state schools and non Greece and Germany.
