Sideras Dimitris was born in Tashkent in 1956. He studied painting at the School of Fine Arts in Tashkent (1972-1976). In the work of emerging influences from painting of fantastic realism, surrealism and sometimes from the Russian folk art. With design accuracy, color purity and miniature perception renders an image of a dream world with particular poetics and symbolic disposal.

He has presented his work in solo exhibitions (Ex. K. D. Painter, 1995) and has participated in group exhibitions in Russia. He worked in film production in Russia. Since the early 1990s he is living and working in Greece. He is also a member of the E. R. T. R
